To toggle the wheel fuction you click it and the little button is the middle click button. I really like using the little button for middle click Con: Not a huge deal since the point is I want to scroll right? But it is just disconcerting and makes me lose track of the page so I have to take a moment to reorient myself before I start a hyperscroll.
All told, I'll probably replace my desktop mouse with this one so they are the same functionality, the one thing holding me back is for a non-mobile mouse I want it a little bigger.

So hopefully the carry over the new way of doing things as they replace older models. This is my second one. It's my favorite mouse. The weight is a bit more than others but it feels good after getting used to it. Sensitivity and accuracy are great. The only down side I see, and this is also why I got the second, is that the left click mechanism, which is used the most, is not very reliable. It started to give me double clicks when I actually click once.
I opened it up and found that the plastic part to press the left click switch was worn with a groove and that created double clicks automatically. I ground the plastic part to make it flat but the click touch became not so sensitive. I decided to get another one.
If Logitech can improve the reliability of the click material, this mouse will be perfect. I bought this mouse because the touch pad on my laptop gets stuck, so I needed a mouse for it, but I also needed to be able to take my laptop and mouse to school or work. The Packaging: It arrived a little bit busted up, but the contents were unharmed. On the bottom of the packaging it lets you know what it is compatible with I included an image so you can figure out if it's right for you.
The Contents: This guy comes with 2 fresh batteries wrapped in plastic, not inside of the mouse which I like because if the batteries had "puked", it wouldn't have damaged the mouse itself. It also has 2 user guides, and a little pouch. If you've never used a unifying receiver it's okay, the guide shows you how step by step and it is EASY. The pouch is perfect because I can keep the mouse from getting scratched or damaged in my purse or backpack.
The Mouse: A scroll wheel on top, which sits between the left and right buttons. You can set the wheel for halted scrolling or endless scrolling by simply pressing it down you'll hear a click. The halted scrolling makes a soft and muffled little sound, barely noticeable, while the endless scrolling is completely silent.
Did anybody got Logitech MX Anywhere working flawlessly over BT?
You can also push the wheel left or right to move left or right while viewing a page. On the left side you have a "Forward" button and a "Back" button for quickly going back to your previous page or going forward.

I really liked this for online textbooks and presentation navigating. Loading your batteries is easy just press on the rectangle on the bottom of the mouse and push towards where the arrow says. What I didn't like: The mouse lacks a little compartment to put your unifying receiver in. It doesn't shut off automatically when its not used for a while which I'd have liked since I sometimes forget to switch it off and it stays on all night I will say though, this little guy is great on battery life, I've had it a year and only changed the batteries once. I would recommend purchasing this product if you're looking for a good and sturdy mouse that makes your computer usage and navigation a bit easier, while also being kind to your wallet: So these Logitech mice are great and they definitely do work on any surface with ease even glass, definitely an awesome mouse for that.
Also the carrying case is excellent and prevents the mouse from getting damaged in transit.
All Logitech Mice (MX Master, MX Anywhere, MX Ergo) no longer scroll on MacOS Mojave
The one glaring flaw is the dreaded left click failure that happens to every single one of these. It's a pretty well known issue that if you own this after about a year or so of use, not time but actual use, your left click will start to fail. You'll be double and triple clicking with one mouse click, dragging, selecting, anything that requires the button to be pressed will start misbehaving. It gets pretty frustrating but I've seen, with the two of these that I own, if you stick with the mouse when this starts to happen, they sort of just go away.
It's weird, they'll show up from time to time but mostly they're all gone. See all 1, reviews.
